How To Complete Chemistry Homework Without A Textbook

There’s no doubt that every single one of us has had some kind of trouble trying to get our homework done. Throw chemistry in and you may be in for a world of hurt, or so you may have thought. All the elements, the formulas, drawing them out and remembering which compound is made of what can be a bit of a daunting task, especially without using a textbook. Fear no more, for the solution, lies in this article.

There are a multitude of sources that one can use when trying to complete chemistry homework. Since the use of textbooks is not allowed, let’s throw out using any kind of book; no eBooks, no library books, no any kind of books. So what resources does that leave us with? People and the internet. Here are the things you can do:

  1. Watch videos
  2. Educational videos are available everywhere these days. A little looking is sure to get you the results that you’re looking for. The videos come in several different forms. There are cartoons, animations, tutorials, pictorials, and the list goes on. Choose the one that is appropriate for your grade or education level. If the topic that you’re looking for is broad, be sure to narrow it down as much as possible so that you don’t waste time watching clips that have nothing to do with what you need.

  3. Listen to audio clips/lectures
  4. These can be a bit harder to find, but they’re definitely out there. The process of finding the right one is very similar to that of looking for a video. There are also sites that offer you a set of audio lectures for a small price. If you know your chemistry curriculum, it could be a very smart investment, especially if you’re an auditory learner.

  5. Talk to your professors/ teachers
  6. Nothing beats a try, right? The suggestion here is not to outright ask the professor or teacher for the answer but to ask them for explanations and examples of how the work should be tackled. If that doesn’t work, get a friend in a neighbouring school to ask their teachers for guidance. This, however, may not be the best idea if you only one day to complete your homework.

  7. Get a tutor
  8. If your school has a free tutoring system, take advantage of that. If it doesn’t, get your parents or guardians to spend a little extra money on getting that help with chemistry. The advantage of doing this is that not only will you get your homework done, but it’ll also give you the extra help you didn’t know you needed.

At least one of the ideas listed in this article is guaranteed to get the job done. Feel free to use a combination of them as well; you can never be sure enough. Pretty soon you won’t need a textbook for help with any chemistry related projects.
